Fantastic Four #1
This book was previously restored and amateur at best.  Ball point pen and markers were used for color touch.  There was some residual glue along the spine.  Large stamp marking across the top of the front cover.

Amazing Fantasy #15

Still the most sought after and desirable book in the marketplace today.  I know you're thinking that it would be worth more left unrestored but I tried that. My customer wanted his copy to look and be as healthy as possible (by the way, my favorite kind of customer).  This book was weak along the spine, cover was browning and highly acidic rendering it a bit fragile.  Page quality of interior was very supple. Pages were de-acidified for longterm preservation.  The book will never degrade in composition or esthetic quality.  Ready for Stan Lee's signature...who is in his Platinum Years!

Journey Into Mystery 83
Book after restoration.  Gallery pictures depict the book's transformation.  Cover was fragile, not yet brittle thankfully.  Cover float washed to remove acidity and reduct discoloration. Cover pressed flat and then mended and filled with Japanese tissue. Careful attention paid to edges and spine for structural security.  Fills and mends color touched on interior and exterior of cover.  Pictures vary in color due to daylight photography.  Pages slightly tanned and a bit dry but still flexible.  Nice copy to now own and enjoy.
