Amazing Fantasy 15

This is an already restored book and client wanted to fix the tape pull.

The surface of the cover (and inside cover) needed to be carefully prepared and reinforced for proper color touch.

Daredevil 1 and Avengers 1

Daredevil 1 Conservation.  Cleaning, humidification and spine reinforcement as well as margins.  Looks like a real nice copy now that my client can enjoy.

Avengers 1.  Even though there is that missing piece to the right, the book is solid and customer decided against restoration and kept it blue label with a cleaning and pressing

Golden Age Beauty

Beautiful copy of Action Comics #21.  Spine split, paper in good condition, pages creamy to off white, staples shiny like new.  Dry cleaned back cover and whites of front cover using dry erasure removing heavy soiling particularly at spine of back cover.  Carefully humidified and pressed out 2 halves of comic book cover. Reinforced spine from interior with Japanese tissue for structural support.  Small tears mended along margins. Removed spine roll and re-assembled cover onto interior using original staples.  Book pressed intact, looking like new again

Silver Surfer #4

Square bound with heavy rippling along top edge of front and back cover.  Slight warps and dents elsewhere.  Soiling on back cover, light dry cleaning using erasures in white areas.  Gentle humidification to relax covers, cold pressing, then some very light heat press.  Slight rippling remained since I did not want to pancake the cover. Beautiful color and gloss!

Amazing Spiderman #3
Wow this was a tricky one...very warped and cockled.  Needed to be extra careful manipulating cover and interior pages so that all could rest flat.  Extra pressure would crush this book so repeated slight humidification did the trick and very little heat.  Not a bad grade for sure!
